Description:
The cable is 6pin DIN for BBC and 7pin DIN for monitor end (fits 8pin DIN socket on monitor, 8th pin not used).

On some monitors if the monitor detects a signal on the DIN input, then there is no way of selecting the SCART input. This cable has a switch to isolate the DIN input, so allowing either input to the monitor to be selected.
